(Sherman Oaks, CA, June 6, 2006) - Metrocities Mortgage, LLC, a leader in the residential mortgage lending market, has welcomed Virginia Martinez, formerly with Metrocities Mortgage, back as a Senior Vice President for the company's Southern California Region.

In her new role, Martinez will be responsible for managing the Sherman Oaks Loan Center, working closely with Metrocities' MetroAmerica Division for expanding markets, and providing support for Metrocities' Santa Barbara and Pasadena Loan Centers.

Martinez brings 25 years of financial industry experience and 13 years of mortgage banking expertise to her role. Most recently, Martinez was an Area Sales Manager for Countrywide Home Loans. In that position, she managed a four-branch region in the San Gabriel Valley. Her sphere of supervision included one of the highest volume areas in the company's system, which funded over $2.5 billion in 2005.

Prior to that, Martinez managed several Metrocities' loan centers in Los Angeles, Orange County and Ventura counties. Her financial industry background also includes: heading up several branches of California Federal Bank's retail division, running one of North American Mortgage's most profitable areas as a Vice President and Area Sales Manager, and managing branches throughout Los Angeles.

Martinez is a graduate of California State University, Northridge. She is a founding member of the Los Angeles Chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals and has served on the board of directors for Consumer Credit Counselors of Los Angeles.
